I am happy to be with this great volume The Theory and Practice of Recognition, edited by Onni Hirvonen and Heikki J. Koskinen (Routledge 2022). This book is one the results of the ”Reason and Religious Recognition” project at the University of Helsinki (2014-2019). My own contribution is ”‘Citizens and the Criteria for Recognition in the Roman Empire”.
