The end of this year has been a real harvest time. The volume Writing History in Late Antique Iberia edited by Purificación Ubric Rabaneda has just been published (Amsterdam University Press). The volume is based on papers held at the University of Granada in 2018.
I am contributing with the article ”Orosius, Barbarians, and the Christian Success Story”, that examines how the figures of barbarians function in Orosius’s narrative of Christian triumph.
